Pamila Matharu (Birmingham, UK, 1973) is a visual artist, arts educator, and cultural producer.  She completed her B.F.A in Visual Arts and B.ED. in Fine Arts Education at York University. As an active community member in Toronto over the last 15 years, she has worked in various parts of the visual arts community/sector. Her recent projects include: Come Up To My Room; Gladstone Hotel’s Alternative Design Event (co-curated w/Christina Zeidler), and the short-lived, artist-initiated Toronto Alternative Art Fair International. Currently, she teaches Secondary level Visual Arts, Media Arts and Citizenship Studies in the TDSB.
